A lot of thought has gone into the Park's shops,
and particularly the souvenir shop. You'll find
many products from the top manufacturers in
Israel and the world. There's a gift or souvenir
to please every taste. Among the products available
are books, video cassettes, posters, houseware,
decorative items, specially printed tee-shirts,
gifts related to sea and coast, and of course
postcards and stamps. As every shop in Eilat,
this shop sells all products duty-free.
Jewelry
Shops
There are two jewelry shops at the Underwater
Observatory Marine Park – one in the Park
and one in the observatory tower. You'll find
exquisite jewelry, crafted by top designers in
Israel and abroad. There's a wide selection of
gold and silver jewelry set with pearls, coral
and gems.
Each
day at 12:45 there's a shell opening demonstration.
Near the jewelry shop you'll find a unique
pearl bar. Here customers pick out a cultured
pearl shell and wait for the shell to be opened
to see what they've got. Some shells contain
two pearls, some have especially large pearls,
some have special coloring. Each shell holds
a surprise. One thing is certain: there's
a pearl in each shell.
