Maui Ocean Center are delighted to welcome back guests from January 21st, 2021 and prior to re-opening their gates to the public Cultural Advisor Kahu Dane Maxwell joined with MOC staff to lead in a blessing that highlighted new beginnings and moving forward.

 

Along with caring for the marine life during the closure, Maui Ocean Center have gone to great lengths to ensure that when visitors returned they would see multiple upgrades to all areas of the park, alongside a strict adherence to government recommendations to  support the health and well-being of its guests, team and marine life:

 

The new website has both an online reservation and ticket system: Launched last week, mauioceancenter.com boasts fresh new imagery and content, along with captivating videography.  Integrated is a new user-friendly ticketing and reservation system in support of capacity guidelines and contactless payments.

Virtual Naturalist Presentations and Park Map: Guests will now have access to our Marine Naturalist presentations and park map via QR codes provided at gate entry and in-park.

 

The virtual presentations allow our guests to watch and listen to the Marine Naturalist at their leisure, rather than a scheduled time format.

Named “Top 10 Aquariums in the World” by TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice, the Maui Ocean Center have reopened with a commitment to provide the  most authentic Hawaiian underwater viewing experience available.
