About the Role
The Education Manager will be responsible for building awareness of the aquarium project in Berlin. Promoting and developing ocean awareness through educational programs, establishing relevant connections, engaging with the local community, collaborating with other CWI sites to learn and spread the company values.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop educational content.
Develop, promote, and coordinate programs and activities for schools and other educational and special interest groups.
Deliver talks, workshops, and seminars at various schools, educational institutions, and community events.
Recruit and manage the education team.
Provide guidance and training to the guiding team.
Essential Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of marine biology and conservation issues.
Knowledge and experience in developing educational programs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team- excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in staff management
Languages- Fluent in German and High level in English
Desirable Qualifications:
Previous experience in education development, preferably in a museum, aquarium, or similar institution.
Bachelor's degree in marine biology, education, or a related field.
Creative and innovative mindset- Ability to write content in German.
Experience in eco-tourism.
